Meeting to implement DR-CAFTA

A delegation from Dominican Republic will meet officials from the US Trade Office (USTO) and representatives from private sector, to discuss various aspects in order to implement U.S.-Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA).

Industry and Commerce Ministry (SEIC) stated that the intention of the meeting was to provide access for Dominican textiles into US market, within DR-CAFTA framework.

Daniel Lizanzo, Executive Deputy Director of National Council of Exporting Duty Free Zones and representatives from Dominican official and private sectors also participated in the meeting.
