Garment imports increased to $37.6 million, which is a rise of 75.7 percent in 2005 as compared to 2004.
From the list of exporters to Vietnam, Taiwan dominated with 46 percent of total supplies due to its cheap goods.
Current prices of Taiwanese Staple fibre exporting to Vietnam declined by 7 percent to $1120 per ton as against the corresponding period last year.
However, prices of synthetic fibre at Thailand market are increased to $1280 per ton.
Import prices of cotton at Vietnam market are expected to reduce as there is hike in demand of cotton.
