China's textile & apparel exports rise in June'13

A modest increase was seen in exports of textiles and apparels made by China in June 2013.
 
Last month, China exported textiles and apparel worth US$ 24.09 billion, registering an increase of 5.25 percent year-on-year, according to latest data released by the General Administration of Customs.
 
Of this, the exports of yarn, fabrics and other related textile products fetched US$ 9.225 billion for China in June 2013, showing a rise of 9.72 percent year-on-year.
 
The exports of apparel and clothing accessories earned US$ 14.864 billion for China during the month, growing at 2.66 percent year-on-year.
 
From January to June 2013, China’s cumulative textile and garment exports stood at US$ 127.232 billion, which is an increase of 12.06 percent year-on-year.
