Implementation of infrastructure and various clusters has helped increase exports from Haryana.

The state has registered exports value worth Rs19,168 crore in 2004-05, with a growth rate of about 35 percent against Rs14,133 crore during 2003-04.

To further enhance the development of textile industry, Textile Centres Infrastructure Development Scheme (TCIDS) shall undertake a project at Panipat.

State should work more in the growing and lucrative sectors like Agro based and food processing industry, handloom, hosiery, textile and garments manufacturing, export oriented units and footwear, leather garments and accessories, said B P Chopra, Convener of State Level Bankers' Committee for Export Promotion Haryana.
