Nepal is fast losing orders to its neighboring countries not because quality or pricing, but due to regular strikes, bandhs and curfews, says Export Task Force.

These situations create bad impression amongst foreign importers and will adversely affect country's exports, it said.

ETF requested withdrawal of strikes, curfews and bandhs and asked Government to provide security to the vehicles carrying goods for exports during this period.

ETF sub-coordinator Rajan Sharma said that the strikes should be withdrawn as it is not going to benefit any one.
