State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that it will continue to support Research and Development on export of textile and readymade garments.
As per SBP's circular “All other instructions contained in the ministry of commerce dated May 18, 2005, as amended vide ministry of commerce's SRO dated June 15, 2005, and a contained in circular No 06 dated June 18, 2005,would remained unchanged.”
Exporters from Export Processing Zones (EPZ) who wish to claim 6 percent R&D support will have to submit their claims to SBP-BSC by specifying bank's branch in Pakistan.
EPZ will replace E-form by 'Export Gate Pass' issued by Manager Facilitation.
