MoT announces list of goods requiring export-import licenses

Last week end, Ministry of Trade announced vide a circular carrying out Government decree to implement its Trade Law declared in the past, that attracted business circles, sources said.
According to the circular, since May 1 this year, there are only 8 goods and its groups needing import – export licenses for operations.
The list of license requiring license include motor-cycles, tree-wheeler, sports weapons, salt, material tobacco, poultry eggs, sugar and textile & apparels.
According to the textile and apparels goods, it is only the US market which must be licensed with export quotas, meanwhile, no license is required at other markets (exporting in accordance with exporters' demand).
