Costa Rican textile exports touch $182,491 in Jan-Nov'13

Textile exports (including leather and footwear) from the Central American country of Costa Rica amounted to US$ 182,491 during the period of January to November, 2013, according to data released by the Foreign Trade of Corporation (PROCOMER).
 
As per PROCOMER data, North American region was the main destination for textile exports from Costa Rica, with the country exporting goods worth US$ 115,348.5, during the January to November 2013 period.
 
Central American region ranked second, with Costa Rica exporting textile goods worth US$ 30,292.4 to the region during the period, followed by the European Union (EU), where the country exported goods worth US$ 14,787.7, from January to November.
 
The lowest exports of textile goods were to the rest of Europe, where the country exported textiles worth only US$ 119, during the first eleven months of 2013.
 
According to the data, textile exports from Costa Rica amounted to US$ 234,367.3 during 2012, indicating a decline compared to the US$ 271,384.8 worth of textile exports during 2011.
