General Custom Department has revealed that the total exports, from Vietnam, for the month of March 2006 are pegged at around US $254.557 million and over $762.124 million for the January-March 2006 period.
Overall exports to the US grossed almost $69.473 million in March and more than $183 million during the January-March 2006 period making it the top export destination for Vietnamese footwear export products.

The US was followed by England, Germany and Belgium at $48.430, $22.530 and $19.988 million, respectively.
Experts believe that the country's exports are bound to continue their growth throughout the year.
