Cheaper Indian labour fetches more textile orders

Trade walls built against Chinese textile goods have benefited Indian and South East Asian markets as European and American importers have started transferring orders from China.

In a recent decision taken by Swedish H & M Company, all orders placed with Hangzhou based Tianyan Textile Co Ltd were given to Indian manufacturers, said Vice Chairman of Tianyan Textile.

Textile trade dispute between Europe & America and China during last year is also responsible for this pessimistic trend.

Even after cracking the trade clashes, this trend continues to exist as Indian labour is cheaper than Chinese labour, which again troubles Chinese textile enterprises.
