Vietnam's footwear exports turnover to Russia in April 2006 reached $1.18 million, up 62 percent over the same month of 2005, Ministry of Trade stated.
Total revenue in Jan-April period 2006 was recorded at $3.27 million, registering year-on-year rise of 70 percent.
Major reason for such high growth is diverting of orders by Russian importers from China towards Vietnam.
