Appreciation of Chinese currency renmenbi (RMB) has hit nearly all textile exporters of Jiaxing city leading to squeeze in their profit margin.
Though the RMB has not appreciated significantly, it has affected the textiles and garment exporting enterprises.
Industry experts have recommended to the textile enterprises that in order to survive in these testing times, they should value add their products and innovate to bring out quality and cost effective products to compete world wide.
