Preliminary statistics reveal that textile and apparel exports turnover surged to US $120 million in the first week of July, continuing the positive growth for the second consecutive month.
Average export revenue stands at $20 million per day during the week.
Experts estimate total exports turnover at about $500 million for this month.
Industry earned $2.74 billion from exports in the first half of 2006, with earnings of $550 million in the month of June.
