French Guiana is the top export destination for Vietnamese mosquito-nets, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) reported.
In July, from 6 to 13 this year, exporting price of these products to Guiana hiked to US $3.23 per set (by airway), much higher than average price of $2–2.5 per set at other markets.
US is an emerging importing market of Made-in–Vietnam gloves with high price.
In the week, price exporting to the US reached $0.77–1.91 per pair at price form of FOB-Hai Phong port against price of $0.35–0.83 per pair exporting EU markets.
Vietnam exported around 15.3 million pairs of gloves, netted $7.3 million in the first half of 2006.
