Pakistan's Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan met with Vice President of Confederation of National Industries (CNI), Brasilia and discussed bilateral and regional trade along with the WTO issues and MERCOSUR.
He had meeting with his counterpart, Luiz Fernando Furlan, Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of Brazil who informed him that the Brazilian trade was in balance with Pakistan.
Leaders of both sides also discussed textile and leather industry issues and ways to develop these sectors. During the meeting with various Ministers, both sides discussed Doha Development Agenda and the progress of G-20 and emphasized the need to open up agriculture sector.
