Statistics of Trade Ministry reveal that in June 2006 Vietnam fetched US $359.9 million, raising total exports value in the half 2006 to $1.746 billion with year–on–year increase of 23 percent.
Made–in–Vietnam footwear products have been shipped to 49 countries and territories all over the world, with highest presence in the US at $403.8 million, England at $260.2 million, Germany for 177 million, Belgium worth $117.2 million and France at $101.3 million.
