During the first five months of 2006, Vietnam's goods exports turnover to Czech Republic reaped $24 million, posting year–on–year rise of 39.82 percent.
Among goods exporting to this Eastern European country, textile and garment top with growth rate of 32.15 percent, worth $12.87 million to make up 53.46 percent of entire exports turnover.
Besides, during the period, most goods saw sharp growth, such as coffee at 80.64 percent worth $1.36 million, footwear for $1.61 million (up 67.67 percent).
In comparison with recent years, such figures show an excellent result.
Vietnam, in turn, is importing goods worth $8.7 million from Czech Republic, with major goods of machines and equipments of $4.5 million, $1.335 million of milk and its products.
