Exports of commodities like garments and textiles, footwear, wooden furniture, plastic products, electronic appliances and computer parts have seen an increase varying between 21.4 and 41 percent in Vietnam for the month of July.
Record growth of 25.8 percent was registered in the garment and textile sector with the revenue of US $3.36 billion.
European Union's anti-dumping measures pushed the leather shoes export downward with figures failing to $340 million, a 6.3 percent decline compared to same period last year.
Export oriented enterprises like garments and textiles, leather shoes and wooden furniture have been urged by the Ministry of Industry to increase the volume of their exports even as selecting new products for exports to non-quota market.
