Vietnam Trade Office in Japan reported that in the first half of 2006, exports to the country earned $2.6 billion, recording a year–on-year surge of 35 percent.
Except for crude oil, growth rate in exports turnover to this market ranked at 25 percent, including most demanded goods of seafood, textile, garment and wood products.
The Trade Office opined that imports-exports turnover between Vietnam and Japan in 2006 would reach around $9.5-10 billion.
