Lhasa, the Forbidden City, has not a single shop to sell cloth or any other textile products and this is a direct benefit for Zhejiang clothing units, which rule the industry in Tibetan capital.
However, to take a morsel from this pie, clothing manufacturers of Shaoxin city are visiting Tibetan market and are planning to set up shops to sell textile products.
This move will also get them the access to clothing and textile markets of India, Nepal, Bhutan and other countries via Tibet.
Moreover, opening of Tibetan railways with local Government's substantial aid has helped exporters to reach international markets.
