Deputy Prime Minister, Suwat Liptapanlop and party were impressed by the production, colors and patterns that indicated the uniqueness of Hua Hin city.
They had learnt about Hua Hin Batik through reading an English newspaper wherein the article described the beauty of Hua Hin's batik art.
On visiting the shop they found that the production unit created jobs for local residents, who help produce and design all the patterns such as tricycles, seashells, beach horses, pineapples, coconut.
Hua Hin is rich with famous natural places for visitors to enjoy their time.
However, DPM had the inclination to promote "OTOP" project here since he found that Hua Hin also provides a lot of good quality handicrafts.
Project needs support and promotion so that visitors, both Thai and foreigners, will be aware that they can find good quality handicraft products as souvenir.
There are more products besides clothing, such as bed sheets, pillowcases, table clothes, aprons, etc. and all these products are quality controlled.
