Ministry of Trade (MOT) estimated that country would earn $6.05 billion from export to EU with expected increase of $650 million by 2006 compared to same period last year.
While import will increase by $450 million to $3.15 billion by 2006 compared to period in consideration.
Foreign revenue of $2 billion is expected through exports of key categories like footwear, textile and garment, according to MOT.
If EU continues anti-dumping duties on Vietnamese footwear, exports would decline compared to 2005, MOT stated.
