Edward Lowassa, the Tanzanian Prime Minister has expressed his desire to enhance friendly ties and multi-faceted cooperation with Vietnam, especially in the area of economy and commerce.
In a meeting with the Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, the Tanzanian Prime Minister appealed to the Vietnamese businesses to invest and form joint ventures in tourism, garments, textile and natural gas in Tanzania.
Two leaders agreed to facilitate exchanges of visits and information at various levels to reach sound agreement of cooperation in farm products, textile and garment.
Dung advised the opening of a representative office in Vietnam to which, Tanzanian leader responded positively.
