Textile and garment exports turnover climbed 30.65 percent to $3.3 billion during the first 7 months of the current year, announced Vietnam General Department of Customs.
Major importers of Vietnamese garment products include the US, Korea, Russia, Canada and EU.
Textile & Garment exports to EU surged 58 percent to $686 million from January-July compared to same period last year while exports to Japan declined 6.5 percent to $343 million.
Garment exports to Korea and Russia reported 64 and 65 percent growth to $38 million and $39 million respectively.
