Dragon country tops as clothing supplier to Norway

Norway's textile and clothing retail growth has seen incresed demand for Chinese products.

In the first half of 2006, Norway imported 33572 tons of clothing from China a 7.8 percent rise, making it the top supplier.

Meanwhile, clothing imports from Bangladesh and India came upto 2065 tons and 1270 tons, respectively.

China is also the top supplier of yarns and fabrics at 9250 tons representing year-on-year hike of 8.2 percent.

England takes the second spot with export quantity of 5800 tons, a 139.6 percent jump. Hongkong is also turns out to be a key supplier in this category.
