Government's decision to grant duty exemptions to selected fabrics imports has been opposed by Tanzania industrialists.
Group of industrialists claimed that this decision was violation of East African Community Common External Tariffs (CET).
Confederation of Tanzania Industrialists (CTI) has issued a written statement to the Government for not to grant NIDA, a foreign textile company given exemption from import duty on fabrics.
