Bulgaria is emerging as a hot export destination for Italy with clothing and textile exports increasing 11 percent while machinery for textile, clothing and leather have gained 71 percent to 9,390,000 euros for the first four months of current year.
Though Dollar is weakening against Euro and cost of production is rising, textile and clothing production level remained high, according to Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.
Labour charge in Bulgaria are maximum at euro350 per month and over 177,000 people have been employed in textile and clothing sector.
Most of the top manufacturers have set up production facilities in Bulgaria and 80 percent of the output is exported worth $1.6 billion with trade balance of Euro311 million.
