Ministry of Trade reported that Vietnam exported US $7.8 million worth of fabric to Indonesia during the first seven months of 2006, representing year–on–year surge of 706 percent, making it the highest earning textile and garment product category.
Standing at the second place is mosquito net that reaped about $2 million.
These two goods made up 94 percent of the entire turnover from Indonesia, in this period.
From January to July this year, exports turnover of textile and garment goods to Indonesian market recorded rocketing annual growth of 796 percent, earning nearly $10.45 million.
July alone registered growth of 53 percent as compared to the same period 2005, yielding almost $2.89 million.
