Cao Viet Sinh, the Vice Minister of Planning and Investment (MPI), said that economic growth rate may exceed the target of 8.1-8.2 percent and could reach 8.4-8.5 percent for the year.
Sinh informed that export sector has registered outstanding feat during the nine month period of January to September courtesy increase in the exports of commodities like rubber latex, garment and textile, wooden furniture, footwear etc.
He added that they were concerned that sectors like agriculture and fishery were suffering due to natural calamities and market pricing issues.
