At a recently held forum under the theme of Chinese folk brands to land on global stage, Vice Chairman of China's Textile Industry Association Yang Donghui disclosed that textiles and apparel export already accounted for 24 percent of the world market gross volume. It means one piece of every four clothes is made from China.

However, export percentage of China's own created brands is very low. Till the date, "brand strategy" implemented by Jiangsu Changshu apparel components industry has made evident progress.

Now they have launched more than 10 famous Chinese brands, among which the value of Bosideng alone reaches 10.22 billion Yuan, ranking the top in China.

It is learned that there are over 4000 apparel components firms in Changshu with annual production of 450 million pieces of apparel in various categories.

China's textiles and apparel export valued US $93.293 billion in total for the first eight months this year.
