Jan-Aug 2006 China's textiles and apparel export to EU totaled $14.888 billion, 11.28 percent more than that of last year. According the statistics, January-August 2006 China's textiles and apparel export to EU and USA came to $28.468 billion, representing a rise of 9.03 percent from the same period previous year, accounting for 30.51 percent of country's textiles and apparel export value.
Among the main importing countries and regions, Japan ranked the first, Taiwan the second, and South Korea the third with textiles and apparel import value at $2.178 billion, $2.146 billion and $1.726 billion respectively.
