The appreciation of US dollar against the Rand has seen Swaziland's textile industry feel positive even though they are not able to reap in the benefits immediately.
David Hsia, Chairman of the Swaziland Textile Exporters Association informed that dollar's appreciation was good for them as major part of their export was to US but was apprehensive of duration of the appreciation.
He said that they have not started cashing in on the benefits as they will be exporting their goods to US only in February or March next year expressing hope that appreciation continues till then.
Even though the entire production process made it difficult for them to make profit instantly, he was optimistic that trend will continue till they are ready to export their goods to US market.
