Delegates of various companies belonging to Netherland and Vietnam met with each other to explore business and investment opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dutch Consul General, Tom Van Zeeland said that both countries had a lot to offer to each other.
Exports of Vietnam to Holland rose from US$35 million in 1995 to US$170 million in 2005 whereas the imports jumped from US$83 million to US$550 million during the same period.
Holland imports footwear, garment and textile from Vietnam while its export items include machinery, equipment and spare parts, agricultural products etc.
Investment from Holland in Vietnam surged from $435 million to $1, 947 million in the last ten years period.
