After China's WTO accession, EU wants China to open more markets and assure fair trade; the Union has also issued a document in this regard.
The document reveals that before two decades, there was little trade between the two sides, but today, most products in EU come from China. However, many European companies face troubles on entering China.
The document pointed out that Sino-European trade relations have not been absolutely win-win relations. China has developed to a new stage, and therefore, it must maintain global limits trade system, ensure fair trade and reduce the intervention of Government in economic affairs.
EU plans to deal with these problems via dialogue, but if that fails, EU will probably seek WTO mediation. In addition, the document also involves issues of market access, Intellectual Property Right with other key issues.
