Exports of Ho Chi Minh City rise 15.4% from last year

Net exports of Ho Chi Minh City in first eleven months of 2006 were US $12,830 million, which have increased by 15.4 percent from last year. Crude oil exports for the year cover $7,855 million of above figure.

Municipal Statistics Department informed that exports of apparel and footwear have also upturned constantly.

Apparel exports reached $855.9 million which was 10.8 percent higher than last year, whereas footwear exports reached $220.7 million which was just 3.7 percent more than last year.
