In over US $300 million Sino-India agricultural trade, sugar, tobacco, cotton and horticultural products can expand India's share.
Prospects of trade were reviewed at a meeting between Chinese delegation led by Minister for General Administration of Quality Supervision, Li Changjiang and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
Pawar told in a meeting that India will export horticultural items and sugar as well as cotton to China on the basis of consumer demand.
Chinese Government is pleased with India's capacity to implement the requisite protocols for exports of grapes and mangoes to China.
During 2005-2006, India's total agricultural export and import to China stood at $250.87 million and $56.22 million respectively.
