Trade and industry experts of Vietnam advised exporters to target new potential markets rather than dealing in traditional markets.
US is one of the potential markets where goods like readymade clothes, footwear and agricultural commodities can be exported more as commercial barriers are removed after Vietnam becomes member of WTO.
However, experts warned that there will be tough competition from China, India and other Asian countries.
In Brazil, there will be huge potential for Vietnamese exporters in the sector of footwear, handicrafts, textile and apparel.
Experts also recommended exporters to expand markets in African countries like Mozambique, Namibia, Madagascar, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
