China's exports exceed imports

China achieved a trade surplus for first nine months of 2006 worth $5.5 billion which is 88 percent of total exports in 2005.

For this period, China exported goods worth $7.6 billion against imports of $2.1 billion from UAE.

China's export to the country exceeded the $2 billion compared to 2005, official sources revealed.

UAE exports to China mainly included petroleum oil and were valued at $1.9 billion which is 90 percent of total exports.
