During January to November 2006, Vietnam exported textile and apparel goods worth US $15.5 million to Singapore, a year–on–year increase of 258 percent compared to same period 2005, official sources informed.
In November, export turnover stood at $2.54 million, a hike of 48 percent over previous month.
During this period, trousers earned $3.2 million, increase of 1139 percent compared to same period last year.
Similarly, elastic shirt generated revenue of $1.64 million, a surge of 130 percent and fabric earned $1.48 million, a decline of 34 percent.
