Wenzhou city's shoe exports to EU fall by 14%

After European Union imposed anti-dumping duty on Chinese shoes, exports of Wenzhou city to EU declined.

In November 2006, Wenzhou city exported 8.1672 million pairs of shoes to EU, a decline of 14 percent.

From January to November 2006, Wenzhou city's export value was US $733.8 million, a surge of 31.16 percent.

Out of shoes export value of $1800.35 million, leather shoe's export value to EU stood at $172 million, a rise of 24.93 percent.
