Textile Industry Association predicts that China's textile industrial output value and export amount in 2007 are expected to increase 20 percent, respectively.
It was learned that the national textile industry sales volume and sales revenues in 2006 were up 21.6 percent and 21.3 percent respectively in 2006.
In addition, customs statistics showed that China's textile and apparel exports in 2006 reached US $147.09 billion, year-on-year increase of 25.1 percent.
According to the forecast by the Association, domestic textile industry output and export value in 2007 will reach 20 percent each in growth, above-scale enterprises will realize a total profit of more than 100 billion yuan.
