Three warehouses of Anman group were sealed after garments accessories worth Tk300 crore confiscated from Anman Packaging Pvt Ltd, Anman Garments and Accessories Pvt Ltd and Safety Polyband and Garments Pvt Ltd.
A joint squad of army and police led by Magistrate Rokon Ud-Doula raided at the ware houses of Shimrail in Siddhirganjon Wednesday night.
Though Anman group has no garments factory, they were importing accessories under duty-free facilities provided to the export-oriented garments industry for selling at high prices in local market.
The seized accessories included carton, hanger, label, backboard, sticker and sewing thread.
