Dong Nai's southern province garment & footwear exports up 27.7%

Dong Nai's southern province export earnings registered increase of 27.7 percent year-on-year to over $1,733 million in the first seven months of this year.
The foreign-invested sector registers exports up 28.4 percent, and the centrally-run and locally-run State-owned sector exports rose by 19.5 percent and over 13 percent, respectively.
From January to July, footwear exports increased by 28 percent to $6.9 million, garments exports went by 14 percent to $19.6 million, and wood products were up by more than 14 percent to over $10 million .
The foreign-invested sector exported products of around $1.6 billion, mainly electronicchips, footwear, foodstuffs, machinery and textiles.
