Bilateral trade with major partners shows speedy growth

Statistics released on April 10 by the General Administration of Customs showed that in the first quarter of this year, bilateral trade between China and major trading partners enjoyed an overall rapid growth.

The EU, the US and Japan continued to be the three largest trading partners to China.

According to customs statistics, the total bilateral trade value between China and ASEAN for the first quarter marked US $43.11 billion, a growth of 24.8 percent.

ASEAN is China's fourth largest trade partner. India is China's 10th largest trading partner.

Sino-Indian bilateral trade value amounted to $8.22 billion, an increase of 58.5 percent, with the development pace being first among China's 10 major trade partners.
