In March 21 2006 - March 21 2007, around 42 million and 194 thousand tons of goods worthy of $41.4 billion have been imported to the country with rise of 23.2 percent in weight and 4.1 percent in value. The average price of one ton of importable goods with fall of 15.5 percent reached $981. Kinds of fertilizers with 1.6%, and chemical industries' products with 1.1% formed 10 main importable items during the said period.
The highest volume of goods was imported through Shahid Rajaie and Bandar Imam Khomeini customs. UAE, Germany, China, Switzerland, France, Korean Republic Italy, UK, India and Netherlands were the main exporters of goods to Iran during the above mentioned period which allocated 70 percent of total value of our country's imports.
