Pakistan's exports to the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) achieved a record-level by reaching at the highest in 2004-05.
According to the latest reports for the year 2004-05, Pakistani exports the US crossed $3 billion and reach at $3.154 billion, showing a rapid growth of $391 million in last fiscal year.
Meanwhile, Pakistani exports to the UK also surpassed one billion dollars and reach at $1.035 billion, comparing to $893.22 million in 2003-04, depicting rise of $142 million.
Pakistani total exports to US and UK in 2004-05 rise by 30 percent.
According to the reports, US sustain its position of being the largest importer of Pakistani products in the world, while following the US, the UK comes to second major importer of Pakistan and replaced the United Arab Emirate. The UAE remained the third leading buyer of Pakistani products.
Pakistani textile products are expected to reach at $2 billion from the US and more than half a billion dollars from the UK.
