At a meeting on July 12 in Islamabad, Mushtaq Ali Cheema, Pakistan's Minister for Textile Industry and Ambassador of Republic of Tunisia discussed the overall development of textiles in both countries.
Tunisia is keen to import technical support as well as textiles from Pakistan as the latter is a quality supplier of both.
For this, a high level trade delegation from Tunisia will take a trip to Pakistan in September for further consultation. However, a draft of the Pakistan Textile Policy would be presented to Pakistan Prime Minister for his consent, which would be announced later in July.
