China's exports of dyestuff and organic pigment reached 390,200 ton in 2006. Among them, dye represented 251,600 tons, an increase of 8.7 percent over the previous year. Earning from this touched US $804 million, a boost of 6.4 percent a year, but a drop of 11 percent compared to rise rate last year.
Exports of organic pigments including coating and printing paste and color master batch came to 138,600 tons, climbing 20.9 percent a year, with 13 percent higher in growth rate, earning $620 million, up 24.9 percent over the year before.
Export of organic pigments is significantly better than dyestuff.
