Bedspread exports registered 29.25 million pieces, down 14.96 percent, value touched $101 million, slumping 17.41 percent, and the average unit price was $3.46 per piece, decreasing 2.81 percent.
Around 775 million pieces of bras were exported during this period showing a plunge of 10.69 percent, valued at $853 million, down 17.03 percent, and the average unit price read $1.10 per piece, down 6.78 percent.
Exports of staple fiber fabrics reached 393 million meters, a drop of 20.58 percent, with value touched around $304 million, down 16.69 percent, the average unit price stood at $0.77 per meter, a rise of 4.05 percent.
Cotton blended dyed fabrics export achieved 137 million meters, a decline of 15.96 percent, valued at $187 million, lowered by 10.29 percent, and the average unit price marked $1.37 per meter, a rise of 7.03 percent.
Around 239 million meters of 100 percent synthetic fabrics was exported during the first half of 2007, represented a drop of 6.87 percent, value for this scored at $147 million, down 9.54 percent, and the average unit price stood at $0.62 per meter, declining 3.13 percent.
