So far this year, textile and apparel exports of Ha Tay province reached VND 732 billion or US $46 million, surged 27 percent in comparison with same period 2006.
Companies gaining large turnover include Son Ha Garment, Hung Thinh Embroidery for Export, and DHA Garment for Export. The biggest exporting market for the province was US.
Up to date, there are 82 enterprises and 12 trade villages in Ha Tay producing the textile and apparel, in which 37 enterprises carry out export activities.
